The Law Is An Ass???

Have you been to court? Do you believe in justice through a court?
Are you afraid of courts?
Do the police uphold the law in your opinion?
Have you ever been bullied in a police station?

On my birthday one year, my front door was broken down at 5 am by the police. I was arrested for a crime that I did not commit. A confession was written for me to sign at a police station. I was bullied and thrown into a cell.
I was kept on police bail waiting for forensics on my clothes, shoes, and paint pots. A place had had paint thrown over it during a burglary. I was told the paint brands were identical in composition and matched. Fortunately, as an artist, I mix my own paint colours, and it was clear that my paint was of a different format. I was also told I had got up the nose of the police!!!! I was not cooperative and had not signed the confession. I told the policeman, ‘he had written the confession, and as he had written it! He should sign it!’ I was told to stuff it up my….
I was refused a call to my lawyer. When I arrived home, my front door had been repaired.
I called at a friend’s house, as I didn't have money with me. She made me breakfast and drove me home, late afternoon. My apartment had been wrecked.

I was also informed… if I had not been articulate and white, I could have ended up in prison. Also, I had extremely good contacts whom I could trust, and the police melted away in a sheepish fashion. What a disgrace! Some who are there to uphold the law!
It was an unpleasant six months, as I was held on police bail for six months.

I then appeared on a TV program, ‘Do We Trust The Police’, and my answer was a resounding NO!

I then became quite political and won lots of cases, helping others. Not all crime-orientated. I enjoyed the challenges. I was also on jury service for a murder trial.

I have been the ‘Star’ of a few police stations, and a journalist friend of mine was murdered for uncovering political corruption. The publicity became worldwide through the work of another country’s journalists.

I would like to believe the courts and police are fair, but I am afraid I have seen many injustices.
I then threw myself into work and became successful beyond my dreams.

Sam Cooke - Chain Gang

Tom Jones - Green Green Grass Of Home

Treaty Oak Revival - See You In Court

Eric Clapton - I Shot The Sheriff

Some people do deserve prison, but not all.

I have recently noticed that younger policemen appear to be much more polite.

I would also like to say that the more recent cases I attended were fair in outcome, and I commend the judges in those cases.

Please chat with friends, post amusing memes, gifs, or comments, and most of all enjoy.
