My Christmas present to a friend was to decorate their fridge for their new shop.

 Dog Day afternoon,

Lazy days,sitting in the sun.

The Romans associsted the hot summers with the Dog Star,Sirius.To appease Sirius they sacrificed a brown dog,hence the expression ‘Dog Day Afternoon’,meaning lazy,hot,summer days.

We would be lost without some working dogs; herders,trackers,sight dogs,help dogs,parachuting dogs,Sniffer dogs,gueard dogs,even some are companions or family members.
