The Games People Play at Christmas
Do you play games at Christmas
At family gatherings we used to play charades.( film titles,books Etc.,)
I’ve always loved Games.At the moment its Backgammon.
My favorite games were: Scruples,Pictionary,Scrabble,Monopoly,Dungeon,a computer game.
Any word games.
Will you play any games this Christmas?What games will you play?
Will you pull crackers?Wear paper hats?
Here are a few games...
We all love Butterflies,and butterflies at Christmas,even butterfly trees.
From an ugly chrysalis a beautiful butterfly emerges.
There are flowers which attract butterflies,and butterfly gardens,and houses.
In the 1930s people made chess boards,and collage pictures from Butterfly wings.
I found two small pictures that were thrown out in someones rubbish,so didnt feel guilty
that I had them,and also had a chess board made of Brazilian Blue butterfly wings.
Its not on display...I might add.
Art Nouveau used butterfly images in many designs,motifs and paintings.
Some designer dresses make dresses with butterfly wings or patterns.
So we have a theme of Colorful Butterfly trees,decorations,and ladies dressed as butterflies.
Christmas lights and trees.Most of all enjoy.

Think Outside of the Box
Boxes are fascinating and cats especially love boxes.
Some people live in them.
Some watch the box all day long.
The Red telephone box was synonymous with London,some ex colonial countries still have them.
Some people paint there fridges like phone boxes or police boxes.
Police boxes have a history too.
Horses travel in them.
Some toys feature a box...like Jack in the box.
Many foods are packaged in colorful boxes.
Cats and children love to play with boxes.
Dr Who traveled in a police box through the universe.
